I can report that for whatever reason, the story isn't getting much traction here in Va-ginia, probably because half the state agrees with everything he wrote. Even our left-leaning local blog, http://starcityharbinger.com/, has essentially ignored it. I think a lot of the ennui over the whole matter stems from an overwhelming sense of fatigue over election politics. This could come back to bite Deeds in the ass. As for Deeds, he's in the Blue Dog Democrat mold anyway, so beyond social issues there isn't a lot of light between him and McDonnell. Good take on McDonnell’s thesis.
