Few people dislike evangelical Christianity more than I do, but as a free speech absolutist, I'm all for Timmy being able to display whatever message on his eye black that he wants. But it has to go both ways: you may have heard about Ohio State's Terrelle Pryor putting Mike Vick's name on his eyebblack and getting a ration of shit for it. Those Christians who defended Timmy's bible verses would have to defend some other player putting "Jesus Sucks" on his eyeblack if they wanted to be consistent, but of course they wouldn't care about consistency, as they're stupid evangelicals.
